Workshop: “Virtual worlds and gamification in eTwinning projects”


haraldHarald Jacob was born in Halle-Saale in 1967, he lives in Trier and he is a teacher of German, History and Spanish at Gymnasium Saarburg. He works as a teacher trainer for Pädagogisches Landesinstitut Rhineland- Palatinate since 2009. His focus of work are: use of social communities in education, media literacy, creative use of ICT tools, virtual worlds and games in education, Open Educational Resources and internet safety. About his eTwinning and international cooperation: eTwinning experience since 2007, Comenius project: “Autour du Cinéma” (2007-2009), eTwinning ambassador since 2008, several eTwinning projects in Spanish (lingua franca and tandem), TILA (strategic partnership) ( (2012-2015).
